THE STORY OF CAFÉ CALIBRE

How It All Began

Café Calibre began with a simple idea — create a café where great coffee, quality food, and genuine hospitality come together. Founded in 2020 by brothers-in-law Messi and Sam, the vision was to build a welcoming space where people could start their mornings with exceptional coffee, enjoy fresh food made with care, and feel comfortable returning again and again.

That vision came to life in February 2021 with the opening of our first café in Dulwich Hill, Sydney. As the café grew, so did our passion for coffee itself — leading us deeper into roasting and the founding of Calibre Coffee Roasters. Today we supply coffee to our own cafés and other venues that share our commitment to quality.
